Holtkamper was awarded the 2012 Caravaning Design Award – Innovations for New Mobility 2012/2013 for its innovative WindForce folding system. The system allows tent trailers to automatically unfold and fold themselves by air in three minutes, regardless of weather conditions. It marked a milestone in the development of folding trailers because tent trailers with the WindForce® system can be easily erected or folded by one person, complete with groundsheet, regardless of age and vitality. A magical wish of many past generations of trailer tent owners is thus fulfilled. The new folding system ‘WindForce®’ has been patented by Holtkamper.
