How does the Holtkamper Aero’s WindForce® system work?

Setting up the Holtkamper Aero requires almost no physical effort. Thanks to the patented WindForce® system, the tent unfolds almost automatically, so you can handle a large part of the setup with just the push of a button. A powerful fan under the bed blows air into the closed tent, creating positive pressure that causes the tent to unfold automatically. No separate tent poles or complicated setup procedures are needed.

In addition to the WindForce® system, the Aero stands out for its aerodynamic tent shape. The tapered seams and aerodynamic design contribute to the tent’s stability in strong winds. The Aero has been extensively tested during severe fall storms and is therefore well-suited for a wide range of locations and weather conditions.

The Aero also features a durable soft top made of green Bisonyl PVC. Unlike a hardtop, this design provides extra luggage space underneath the cover. The roof can be replaced individually, so parts do not need to be replaced unnecessarily.

The Aero folds out widthwise, so the king-size bed is positioned across the width of the folding trailer. This differs from the Nano, which folds out lengthwise.

How quickly can the Holtkamper Aero WindForce® be set up?

The Aero WindForce® can be set up and made fully ready for camping by a single person in about 15 minutes. Thanks to the WindForce® system, the tent inflates automatically with the push of a button. Because the Aero doesn’t require guy lines, it can also be set up on rocks, pebbles, paved campsites, festival grounds, and even rocky shores—places where traditional tents are often less practical.

Sleeping in the Aero: King-Size Comfort, Always Dry

The Aero’s king-size bed measures 210 × 155 centimeters and offers plenty of space for two people. The bed features a comfortable slatted base and a reversible cold-foam mattress with two different firmness levels. Thanks to its generous dimensions, even taller campers can sleep comfortably.

Tent Groundsheet: Stay Dry While Camping, Even in the Rain

The Aero comes standard with a tub-shaped groundsheet. This tub-shaped groundsheet extends upward all around the edges of the tent, creating an extra barrier against moisture, drafts, and insects. Even when the ground is wet or if it rains while you’re setting up the tent, the living area remains better protected against water and dirt.

Membrane Air Conditioning: A Comfortable Climate in Every Season

The Membrane Airco tent system consists of three layers of tent fabric with two insulating layers of air in between. This keeps the tent cooler on hot days and better insulated on cold nights. In high temperatures, the membrane vents warm, humid air; in cold weather, it acts as an extra layer of insulation. Included as standard with the Holtkamper Aero WindForce®.

Expandable for families

Although the Aero provides sleeping space for two people as standard, it can be expanded with an optional children’s tent. This increases the total sleeping capacity to a maximum of five people, making the Aero suitable for families as well.

Practical storage space under the bed

There is a spacious storage area of approximately 1,000 liters under the king-size bed. In addition, there is another approximately 250 liters of space available under the cover for luggage and camping gear.

No poles, no guy lines: the freedom of the Aero awning

One of the most striking features of the Holtkamper Aero WindForce® is its floating awning. Instead of separate tent poles, the awning is supported entirely by the tent frame. This creates an open and spacious feel around the folding trailer and keeps the living area easily accessible.

In summary, the Aero combines an open living space under the awning with smart features such as All Climate® windows, Pack-N-Go, and a lightweight stainless steel-carbon frame. Together with the integrated outdoor kitchen, these features provide extra comfort on every camping trip.

Aero without a kitchen or Aero with a kitchen: which one is right for you?

The Aero is available in two models. Both feature the same WindForce® system, the same comfortable sleeping area, and the same ease of setup. The main difference lies in the integrated outdoor kitchen and the extended chassis of the Aero with kitchen.

The Aero without a kitchen is the most compact model. With a starting price of €23,995, folded dimensions of 350 × 180 × 120 centimeters, and an unloaded weight of 480 kilograms, this model is designed for campers who use the facilities at the campground or prefer to bring their own cooking equipment.

The Aero with kitchen is available starting at €28,995 and features an extended chassis with an integrated outdoor kitchen: three gas burners, a refrigerator, two spacious shelves, and practical storage space. This means you’ll always have your own cooking and refrigeration facilities, no matter where you camp.

The choice depends mainly on how you like to camp. Do you cook for yourself regularly and want to have your own kitchen wherever you go? If so, the Aero with a kitchen offers a lot of extra comfort. Do you prefer to use the campground’s facilities, or do you like to travel as compactly as possible? If so, the Aero without a kitchen is probably a better fit for you.
