Holtkamper introduces the Flyer 1, known as the fastest unfolding giant folding caravan in the world. With a frameless double-roof awning and sewn-in cockpit groundsheet, Holtkamper was ahead of its time, which also garnered national attention via Brandpunt. At the Caravan RAI, the Flyer caught on immediately and more than 200 were sold in the first year.
A year later followed a second model with a fixed awning that folded along automatically, without loose poles and even put up without pegs. Then came variants such as the Flyer Expedition and Flyer Bedouin, deliberately designed in earth tones. The Flyer was built through 2009 and won several awards, including for ease of setup.
