Under the name Utopia, Holtkamper develops storm-proof tents with few poles and no guy ropes. With almost 70 years of tent experience and knowledge from desert assignments, during which Bert Holtkamp learned a lot from nomadic peoples, a collection is created that is ahead of its time, including a closed inner tent with ground blanket. In September 1999, the Utopia M, which can be set up in 10 minutes, became the convincing test winner at the ANWB and even Piet Paulusma camped with it for years.
