At Holtkamper, you’ll be working on folding trailers that help our customers enjoy the best vacations. You’ll maintain them, repair them, troubleshoot technical issues, and install new parts and accessories. In short: a truly hands-on role for someone who loves to tinker and get things done.
Do you have experience as an auto mechanic, RV technician, or in another technical workshop? Then you have an excellent foundation. But experience with folding trailers is absolutely not required. Are you technically inclined, handy, and motivated to learn the trade? If so, we’ll train you in-house.

From our showroom and workshop in Utrecht, right off the A2, we work with an enthusiastic and dedicated team to create a product we’re proud of. Every day, we hear stories from customers setting off on adventures with their Holtkamper, and together we make sure their folding trailers are in top technical condition for their next trip.

What are you going to do?
You’ll be working in our workshop on new and used Holtkamper folding trailers, and the work is mostly hands-on.
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Maintenance and repairs on Holtkamper folding trailers.
- Work on chassis, undercarriage, brakes, couplings, and tent structures.
- Installation and adjustment of parts and accessories.
- Conducting technical inspections before a folding trailer is returned to the customer.
- Repairs and modifications to existing folding trailers.
- Coming up with practical solutions when a problem is slightly different from the norm.
- Helping out with other tasks in the workshop as needed.
You’ll work largely independently on your own projects, but you’ll do so as part of a small technical team. We help each other, consult frequently, and work together to tackle whatever needs to be done at the moment.
What do we expect from you?
Above all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys tinkering and has a technical mindset. Someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, enjoys figuring out how things work, and finds satisfaction in a job that’s simply done well at the end of the day.
You don’t have to know Holtkamper inside and out just yet. We’d be happy to teach you all about it.
We think it’s important that you:
- You’re handy and have technical know-how.
- You enjoy working practically and with your hands.
- You’re solution-oriented and enjoy troubleshooting.
- Can work independently, but also enjoys being part of a small team.
- You work carefully and have an eye for quality.
- Are eager to learn and pick up new techniques quickly.
- Have a positive attitude and aren’t afraid to just get things done.
Experience in automotive technology, caravan or RV technology, commercial vehicle technology, agricultural mechanization, motorcycle or bicycle technology, or auto body repair is a plus, but not a strict requirement. We also consider your educational background less important than your technical aptitude, motivation, and work ethic.
And do you have a passion for camping and the outdoors? If so, that’s definitely a plus.

- A salary between €3,200 and €3,800 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
