In 2017 Bert Holtkamp (now well past 70) felt it was time to hand over the company to a party where the future of the leading and carefully built up premium trailer tent brand Holtkamper was in good hands. Wim van der Vorst, owner of De Vouwwagenpecialist in Boxtel (formerly also dealer of Holtkamper), is taking over the company. The staff in Emmen and Bunnik will continue as usual under the new owner. Later the own production activities and retail outlets will continue under the umbrella Campfire Group.
