In 1976, Holtkamper launched its own folding trailer. The wagon body (“famous orange wagon body”) was made at the German firm Heinemann of Kreuztal Krombach and the tent was made at the Mehler of Fulda. It is a large 2 to 8 person folding trailer with different compartments (the so-called symmetrical system). It is available with different sizes of awnings. This trailer tent was sold through their own sales points in Ter Apel, Lathum (near Arnhem), in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk and later in Nieuwegein (1984).
